"Bad actors", this refers to anybody attempting to cause you harm. Unfortunately this is big business. Accidentally click on the wrong link, offer Wi-Fi to the wrong person and you would be amazed at how easy it is for someone that knows what they are doing to immediately gain access to every part of your life, including your finances.
Nobody is interested in me or my boring family?
Wrong, phishing schemes are based upon numbers not specific interest. The more opportunity for a slip up the better chance of success. You are a target regardless of how valuable or interesting you think you might be. If you are connected to the internet, you are in danger. Simple as that.
Can you block dangerous and or pornographic websites?
Not only are these sights extremely damaging to you or your children's mental health, they are a cesspool of dangerous actors that can gain access simply by visiting a website or clicking on a video. As a parent I believe we have the responsibility to protect our children even from themselves. This is one very strong measure to deter your children from creating damaging habits that can ruin their lives at a very early age.
I barely even know how to turn on my computer, how is any of this for me?
We exist for those who cannot implement protection on there own and for those who choose not to spend the time, money and effort into managing a network themselves. Our cost is intentionally affordable in comparison to the competition simply to provide access to our services for all. If you are relying on your internet providers modem security to protect your family, finances and most personal information, unfortunately you have no protection at all.

Not only does our gateway identify and control the flow of traffic but it recognizes malicious content and behavior and automatically blocks it completely.
This does not require specific software to be installed on your computer, phone or tablet. We block malicious and pornographic material at your request at the source. See below for an explanation of VLANs for more information on this.
Our systems actually incorporates multiple types of devices including Wi-Fi or Internet and Secured Security Camera Systems. This is at a very base level as it can provide so much more to a high end home or business such as entry access just like at a hotel.

What VLANs Do
Isolate Traffic: They stop different types of devices from seeing or communicating with each other directly unless you specifically allow it.
Enhance Security: If an intruder or a piece of malware compromises one device (like a smart TV or a guest's smartphone), the VLAN prevents them from jumping over to your sensitive devices, like your home computer or business server.
Organize Devices: You can group devices by their function. For example, you can put all security cameras on one VLAN, employee computers on another, smart home gadgets on a third, and guests on a completely restricted fourth network.
In short, VLANs give you the high-end security and organization of having multiple separate physical routers and switches, all while using just one underlying network hardware setup.
